QuadCooler Laptop Cooler - This is the QuadCooler. It is strong yet lightweight. It is powerful yet small enough to pack along with your laptop or notebook computer. It is a scientific fact that computers run better at lower temperatures. It is also true that most computers and especially laptop computers run much higher than the ideal temperature where computer function best. The QuadCooler is a rectangular platform designed to sit underneath your portable computer and it is powered by a special USB cable that plugs into any available USB port on your laptop or notebook computer. One end of the cable is a standard USB connector and the other end is a standard barrel type power connector. The setup is easy. You simply set your laptop on top of the QuadCooler and then you plug the barrel end into the QuadCooler and the USB end into any available USB port on your laptop computer.

There is a power switch that lets you put the QuadCooler on stand bye. There is also a speed control that lets you adjust the fans to the setting that’s right for you.

The toilet paper test consists of placing a single square of toilet paper on either the fan housing or on the exhaust port to test the direction of air flow.

Here you can see that when placed on the fan intake that the toilet paper gets sucked onto the fan housing.

Now we are going to place it on the exhaust port and you can see that it blows the toilet paper away from the port.

It’s hard to see the 4 concealed fans through modern design of the QuadCooler exterior. Therefore, we will remove the top cover to expose the 4 powerful but quiet fans. The fans are used to drawn warm air down into the QuadCooler and then out the sides. The fans are evenly placed to provide balanced cooling to all the hot spots on the bottom of your laptop computer including the processor, hard drive, and battery.

Today laptop and notebook computers are more powerful than ever, but that also means they are generating more heat than ever before and the QuadCooler offers a powerful yet lightweight cooling platform for your portable computer.
